Greetings, I am Abbas Sadeghi, the founder of the Basaamad Music Band, also known as the Basaamad Project. The name “BASAAMAD” (Frequency) comes from the Persian measurement of the number of times a periodic event occurs in a unit of time.

The Basaamad project began in 2008, when I released two singles, “Childish Dream” and “A Night,” along with two simple videos. The positive reception to these tracks motivated me to produce the first album, “The Growth” (Rooyesh), which was released the same year along with the music video for “Saaze Shekasteh.”

In 2012, I collaborated with my good friend Nima Najm to produce the second album of Basaamad called “Hesse Parvaz.”

Despite my immigration to Canada a few years later, I continued to create new music and wrote several songs for the third album, which I will be releasing this year (2024).

I am excited to announce that the upcoming album will feature solely my work, and I am eager to share this new music with all of you.
